Chris Steponaitis is Co-Owner of Heartland Garage Builders, a family-owned company serving homeowners across the greater Chicagoland area.

With decades of hands-on construction experience, Chris has helped design and build everything from simple backyard sheds to multi-million-dollar custom homes. At Heartland, he focuses exclusively on detached garage projects — guiding homeowners through design, budgeting, permitting, and construction with clarity and confidence.

Heartland’s team brings over 50 years of combined construction experience and has successfully navigated permits for more than 4,000 detached garages and 2,800 remodels, additions, and new homes totaling over $500 million in project value. Chris plays a key role in ensuring each project is planned correctly from day one so clients avoid surprises, delays, and hidden costs.
